1861 Corporation Of Charleston, S.c. 10 Cents Note
April 19, 1861. Charleston, South Carolina. Large vignette of a Confederate sailor holding a 1st National Confederate flag at left. Maiden with oxen at center. A very attractive note printed in red and issued only a week after the bombardment of Fort Sumter! There is also a vignette on the reverse with a slave carrying a basket of cotton on his shoulder, and another slave filling up a basket of cotton in the background. Printed in blue. Crisp uncirculated condition. Scarce.

Stunning colors in this Original late 1890s Antique Colored Typogravure Etching. Portrays a lovely Victorian Lady saying her goodbyes to her suitor while boarding the train. Man kissing her gloved hand. She is dressed in a lovely pale gray blue suit and matching wide brim feathered hat. He has given her a bouquet of yellow roses. His large St. Bernard champion dog nearby. This antique print is lithograph signed by the artist: EDWARD CUCUEL (American Impressionist Painter 1875 - 1954. EXCELLENT CONDITION for a print of this age. (Please see photographs, as they are part of the description). Vibrant coloring, was NEVER exposed to any light. Housed in it's complimentary antique ornate gold gesso frame. Gesso has detailing of half circles and ribbon designs. Frame has some very minor bumps and scratches from age. Gesso all intact. Maintains it's ORIGINAL old glass. Wood frame is a nice substantial heavy weight. Overall the frame measures 11-1/2 inches wide by 14-1/8 inches high. Depression Glass Peach Coloured Float Bowl And Frog.
Peach coloured frosted glass circular shallow bowl with matching flower frog (holder for the stalks). Depression glass, circa 1930s. The frog sits into a well with a lip, and the circular area is for floating flowers. Bowl measures 19 cm diameter and 7.5 cm high (7.1/2 inches by 3 inches). Apart from some minor damage on the bottom of the frog, it is in excellent condition. Heavy. Please ask for a postage quote before ordering as the system will reject an order without this.

A set of 60 prints, plus one other later card, from the collection of the Museo del Prado in Madrid (Spain's main museum). These were printed as a medical give-away at Christmas to doctor clients in Spain of Citrovit, a vitamin C supplement. The prints are printed with a slightly textured finish, and are beautiful renditions. Each loose page measures 21 cm by 17 cm. All in excellent condition. Probably circa 1960s or 70s. On the reverse is a Spanish language advert for various of the companies products.
