This is one of the nicest pieces of Victorian hair jewelry I have seen in a long time. The hair has nice color, it is brown with lighter streaks going through it. It has a gold frame then a black one. The outer frame is finely detailed leaves. This piece is very clean. There are a few tiny chips on the back of the onynx and this was proberly caused when it was being made, These are so minor they might not show in the scan. It is unmarked 14K gold. It measures 1 3/4 inches by 1 1/2 and has a 3/8 inch piece to attach it to a chain. Condition is excellent. |
