This volume is a collection of 2-3 page vignettes that had been previously published in magazines and now put together in book form. The copyright from the magazines is dated 1929, so presumably this book was published shortly thereafter. It is a stated FIRST EDITION. Bruce Barton is best known for his titles The Man Nobody Knows, The Book Nobody Knows and What Can a Man Believe, all stories of Jesus and Christian thought. This volume originally belonged to the University Of New Hampshire Library ands bears it's imprint and other usual ex-library markings. A little side note of interest.....the one and only "DUE DATE" imprinted on the library log is December 6, 1941...The day Pearl Harbor was bombed...sets one to wondering. The book itself is in great condition. The only detraction might be the fact that in an effort to protect the corners of a few pages, someone put tape, albeit very neatly, around them. Great collectors volume. We ship to domestic customers by USPS Book Rate of $1.33, Priority only if specified.

Autobiography of a "woman preacher" whose love for the "little white churches" of New England led her to become minister to seven of them, thus the title of the book. After the death of her husband in 1943, Mrs. Henrichsen studied for the ministry and came to the Coast of Maine eventually softening the hearts of the crusty inhabitants of all 7 communities (Sullivan, Prospect Harbor, Gouldsboro, Ashville, Franklin, Sorrento and North Sullivan) to whom she ministered. This hardcover volume signed by the author is in very good condition despite a somewhat ragged dust jacket. Published in 1953 by Houghton Mifflin and illustrated throughout by William Barss.

This uplifting and spiritual book is food for the soul from Father John Walchars, also author of The Call from Beyond. After being a missionary to China, he returned to the US to teach and lecture. Take a few moments of quiet reflection each day to enjoy this refreshing book. Has the Imprimatur of the Catholic Church. Quite sure this is a 1st edition although it does not specifically say so. Volume is in good condition with original dustjacket

This very nice 3D Easter scene folder was put out by the Lutheran Brotherhood of Minneapolis as a teaching aid in Christian Education programs. The scene comes in it's original folder which has assembly instructions on the inside as well as the text of the Easter Story from Matthew 28:1-8. It consists of 4 pages of punch out scenery and figures and when done, if you place it under a light, the cave/tomb will be illuminated. Really quite interesting. Put some meaning in someone's Easter Basket and give them this unique gift.
