Attention all alumni of Morse High School of Bath Maine. Here’s a chance to re-capture those care-free days of 1920 (postmark date). Nice color litho of the ivy covered pillar of learning with a few folks hanging out on the front steps ... so what has changed? This school was really big considering the time! The corners are a bit rounded and the upper right corner is a little bent, otherwise, the card is in reasonably good condition.

Click for more detail...
1958
Used postcard featuring a Giant Redwood with two people in Edwardian dress posed in front of the grand tree. In fact, it looks as if the people were superimposed on the tree as their posture seems unnatural. Anyway, the card is postmarked Santa Cruz 1915. It does have edge and corner wear and a few light creases, overall still good condition

2150ms
One assumes this postcard was produced to feature the great architecture of this ‘Municipal Auditorium in Clearwater, Florida’, which was probably brand new around the ‘20’s (judging from the cars). The card is in absolutely mint, unused condition, beautifully crisp and vibrantly colored. Numbered C-64, it was made by Curteich and published by the Sun News of St. Petersburg.

Click here to enlarge image and see more about item 2149: OLD LADIES HOME DENVER COLORADO - UNUSED
Click for more detail...
2149
This unused postcard is pretty old since the back has the message “after March 1907, this space can be used for a written message”. But what is really strange is the subject --- the “Old Ladies Home, Denver Colorado”. An advertisement, an attraction, or was the building architecturally unique for it’s time? Don’t know. It bears the #101and was made by Frank Thayer, Publishers of Denver. Was certainly handled by more than one old lady, since it does have creases in top left top and bottom corners and the other two have a little rounding. There is edge wear to the top and left side.

Click for more detail...
2134MS
This is a great card..unused and from the look of the old sedans, from the 40’s. Looks like Florida’s coastline was still undeveloped...just getting started, as it were. The colors in this card are so very intense..nice touch with the lawn chairs, too. It is numbered E-10480 and was made by L.L. Cook of Milwaukee. The little white spot on the lower right is a little defect of some sort, and not a paint spot.
