What's in a name? Have no idea on this one. Billed as the "aristocrat of all granulated hand cleansers" this PAX-LANO-SAVE tin with paper label is in pretty good shape. Believe it to be late 40's or so. There might be some left for you to sample.

Attractive and colorful advertising tin for the Public Benefit Boot Co.located in St. Pauls and St. Leeds, England. Hard to tell, but I think this was for boot or shoe polish. Tin measures 6 3/4” x 5 1/2” and 3 1/2 tall. It is very colorful and has lots of writing and is crammed with pictures. Interior is pretty clean, and just one small dent in the bottom left edge. Nice collector item.

Elaborate, bright florals almost entirely cover this beautiful tea or biscuit tin. It's six panel shape and double lid with knob only add to it's beauty. The piece is in superb condition, measures 4 1/2" x 5 1/8" x 6 1/2" tall and is marked "CONTAINER MADE IN ENGLAND" in tiny letters on one of the side panels.
