These bowls are identified in Gene Florence's book on Kitchen Glass of the Depression Era as having been made by Hocking. The largest one measures 8" including the rim, has nice looking vertical ribs and a 1/2" pouring spout. There is some roughness and a few small nicks at two different points on the inner rim of the larger bowl... probably the result of an electric beater hitting it, but otherwise it is in good condition and the color and clarity are great. The smaller is the 7 1/4" size bowl in mint, mint condition. The two nest together perfectly. |
