| Although this bowl has quite a bit of paint wear to the sides as well as to the gold decoration that once encircled the rim, it is still quite bright enough to see the great Hunt scene with two riders and their 4 faithful hounds galloping towards us. The bowl has a flared and ruffled rim and stands on 3 feet. It is approximately 5" in diameter and about 2 1/2" high. There are no cracks or chips or other defects other than the paint loss described above. It is fully marked and dates to the late 1800's. We can't decide if the splotches of color on the sides are intentional or makers' errors. See what you think. .We ship to domestic customers by Priority Mail at $3.95 plus $2.00 insurance. |
