Great vintage pottery vase featuring the froggy goes a courtin' motif of a frog strumming his guitar and presumably belting out (or maybe croaking out?) his love songs over the swamp. Semi matte finish with no cracks or chips. There is one defect--a tiny burst bubble near the top of froggy's head. Impressed USA in the clay. We date this to late 50's early 60's, but could be much earlier. |
