Unusual piece of English Abbey red Staffordshire transferware. It is much too big to be simply a handleless cup, it must be for pudding or porridge. Our piece does have a couple of hairlines, some discoloration and lots of wear to the bottom, but after all it is well over 100 years old. Pretty pattern in the mold, too.
