Colunas Box Sleeve - 1930s
Box sleeve, unused, picturing a man with a black top hat, white shirt, red pants and scarf, holding a small box and smoking a small cigar. The name John appears over his picture. Trademark appears underneath his picture as follows: star with a cigar through the middle, Marca Registrada 26 Aug. 1887, Colunas, Hermanos. The sides of the box sleeve are marked Hojas de la Habana, Colunas, 10 Cigarros Superiores. The back of the sleeve shows assorted expositions where the product was shown and awards won, with the most recent award in the middle and marked Antwerpen, 1930. Box sleeve is unused but slightly open. There is very mild discoloration to white background. Otherwise item is in very good condition.

La Palina Cigar Box
La Palina cigar box, 3 inches x 5 inches. Top reads La Palina Major, mild, made good. Inside of box has a paper with the La Palina logo. Box has damage, with 3 corner tears and numerous tears and sticker marks to the outside covering. Inside paper is corroded on one end. Pictures are still very visible, as damage is mostly on the edges of the box and paper.

Cigar Label - embossed
Oval cigar label, 3 1/4 inches x 2 1/2 inches, mounted on a piece of plain card stock. Label shows a picture of 18th centur people in a tropical setting. No brand name is apparent on this label. Label is in excellent condition and comes in a small plastic protector frame. Spots seen in picture are sticker residue on frame, not on label.
