*RARE* Mickey Mouse WWI Doughboy Marked Bisque Figurine
Presenting a wonderful Disneyana vintage porcelain or bisque Mickey Mouse figurine who is armed to the teeth and ready for action.
Check it out, he has a sidearm on his left side, and his right hand holds a rifle and bayonet. Not our normal peace-loving Mickey, it appears.
Doughboy Mickey is approximately 3.5 inches tall by 1.5 inches in diameter. His naked black back is marked MADE IN JAPAN and what looks like the number 516, but could also possibly be S/b. We looked until we were cross-eyed but could never say for sure which one it is.
Mickey’s cute little red butt sports the copyright sign followed by WALT E. DISNEY, which was only used as an identifying mark between 1929 and 1933.
Also there was a Disney short cartoon film called The Barnyard Battle released by Disney in 1929, and Auntie Kriso swears up and down that Military Mickey is connected with it, but has nothing to show us to back it up, so there it sits.
His condition is very good, with no discernable chips, cracks or nicks, and only a slight loss of paint in various small places, the most prominent being Mickey’s nose.
So don’t miss out on this highly collectible Disneyana figurine, as Mickey’s value will only go up as time passes.

Porcelain Cardinal Figurine
This charming feathered fellow has seen a lot of use, which shows up as small pin-sized nicks here and there (a bunch of them) and a semi-botched paint repair job under one of the wings.
But he is still a cheery little guy, and quite a striking piece as long as you don't go over him with a fine-toothed comb.

Kanawha Amberina Swan Paperweight
If you ever get tired of watching Vaseline glass glow under a blacklight...
You can always try a change of pace with Amberina glass (see Pictures #1 and #5).
This little cutie measures approximately 2.5 inches tall, 4 inches long and 2 inches wide, and actually still has the Kanawha sticker on the bottom (see Picture #4).
There is an itty-bitty chip on his lower lip which is extremely hard to find, otherwise he is in excellent condition.

Cute-As-Can-Be Scotty Dogs
And these guys are almost TOO cute, if that's possible!
They have a pedigree, or in other words they have a maker's mark on the bottom, along with the engraved words Made In Japan (see Picture #5).

Rocky Racoon Comes To Town!

Murano Glass Birds
These gorgeous, multi-colored birds are real eye-catchers.
Made from Murano glass, they measure 7 inches long and 3.5 inches tall, and are in perfect condition except that one has a single flea bite on the bottom edge of the ground edge, but you have to work hard to find it.
There is a slight amount of fluorescent green in the bodies of these birds (see Picture #3) but it is more of a mint green than neon green.

Everybody Loves A Clown!
And this guy is the classiest clown we've ever seen, hands down.
He's heavy, weighing in at 3.25 pounds, and measures approximately 8.75 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 3.75 inches front to back.
He carries an aura with him that can't help but make you smile, and is in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks or nicks.
The Italian, hand-blown Murano glass is not vaseline, but his little derby hat and neck scarf definitely glow red under a blacklight.
A real collector's item!

Smug Little Glass Kitty - Probably Fenton
At least we've seen this little sleeping cutie referred to as a Fenton cat before, but if he is, he's a RARE Fenton cat because we can't find hide nor hair of him on the internet.
But then again, the internet moves in mysterious ways...
At any rate, he's a keeper for sure with his purple-plum Carnival coat, and would be a welcome addition to any glass collection.
