Outta-Sight Mercury Glass Covered Compote
Just when we thought we'd seen it all, up pops this little Sweetie, and just in time for the Holidays!
At first we thought it was one of our favorites, Goofus Glass, but visitations to the Goofus Glass Website convinced us otherwise.
She looks to be quite old, and is made of clear glass with a silver overlay of some sort. It was a lot darker when we got it, but Auntie Kriso whipped out her trusty jeweler's rouge cloth and she shined right up!
There is a grape and leaf design overall, and if someone wants to call her a candy jar because she is SO sweet, we wouldn't argue.
She measures approximately 7.25 inches tall, and 3.5 inches in diameter.
There is very little wear and loss to the paint - probably less than 5 percent, and no chips, cracks or nicks as far as we can tell.
This would be a wonderful addition to any collection!
