Vintage "Cocktails Recommended by Calvert" booklet, Copyright 1935, Calvert Maryland Distilling Co., Inc. This Cocktails recipe booklet contains 14 pages of drink recipes which are simple to prepare and all you need to prepare all drinks are five kinds of liquor – Whiskey, Gin, Vermouth, Bitters and Grenadine Syrup. This soft cover Cocktails Recommended by Calvert booklet is in very good condition considering it is almost 70 years old – the pages are slightly yellowed but there are no stains or writing on the pages. Nice item and conversation piece for the home bar.

"The Puerto Rican Rum Host and Hostess Book" contains mixed drink and coffee recipes, as well as recipes for hors d’oeuvres. Distributed by Rums of Puerto Rico, copyright 1956, written by Joe Stetson who has a continuing dialog throughout this book with his dog, identified only as "Best Friend". He includes several photos of this very cute dog. The soft cover of this Puerto Rican Rum Host and Hostess Book looks and almost feels like bamboo thatching. This 24 page book is in very good condition – no stains or writing on any of the pages.
