Blue Willow Rectangular Bowl Buffalo Pottery
Beautiful antique Buffalo Pottery Blue Willow rectangular casserole bowl. This bowl is the ‘covered rectangular bowl’ without the lid. This Blue Willow Casserole Bowl depicts an old Chinese legend of forbidden love. Buffalo Pottery Co. of Buffalo, New York was the first and most sought after maker of American Blue Willow and produced it from around 1905 to 1917. The bottom of this Buffalo Pottery Blue Willow bowl has the Buffalo logo and is marked "Semi-Vitreous Buffalo Pottery 1911". This antique bowl is still in wonderful condition considering it is nearly 100 years old. Very shiny! The blue cobalt color is very bright and sharp. The white has turned a bit brown – not so much on the interior, but more so on the reverse side. There is a small dab of extra clay (glazed) on one wall and a few blue paint spots on the opposite wall – production incidents. There is a 3/8" chip on one corner of the bowl, which is not overly noticeable. The bowl when tapped has a "thud" sound and I knew there had to be a crack. I examined this bowl inch by inch numerous times and could not find a crack. Then when I photographed it, the macro lens of the digital camera picked up a VERY tight 1 ½" hairline crack on the back. The crack definitely does not go through to the interior. This crack is shown on the close-up photo of the logo (to the left of the Buffalo). Price for this "Buffalo Pottery Blue Willow Rectangular Bowl, without lid" if perfect would be $249.95. Priced at 85% discount. Use or display!

Franciscan Coronado Salt and Pepper Shakers
Franciscan China salt and pepper shakers in the Coronado pattern, glazed in coral. These Franciscan China salt and pepper shakers were made in the matte and the glossy glaze. These shakers are shiny, but not overly shiny, so I believe these are the matte glazed shakers - but I am not 100% certain. The salt shaker has 1 hole on top and the pepper shaker has 2 holes. They have the original corks. Except for some age discoloration on the bottom, these Franciscan Coronado shakers are in excellent condition.

Fred Roberts Co. Vegetable Serving Bowl
You’ll love this beautiful Fred Roberts vegetable serving bowl! The yellow rose and rosebud accented with leaves in shades of brown and pale blue on this white Fred Roberts bowl is so attractive. A nicely ruffled border is highlighted with Gold gilt on the rim’s edge. The sticker on the bottom, damaged but still partly readable, states in part Fred Roberts Co. China Made in Japan. Not certain, but I think below that is San Francisco. This decorated Fred Roberts vegetable bowl is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks or visible wear. Minor fading of the gold gilt on the high points of the ruffled edge. During production, 3 trivial pinpoint spots of color were not removed before the glaze was applied - these minuscule spots are definitely under the glaze and of no real significance.

Size: Height: 2 1/2”, Diameter: 8”
Color: Floral on White
