Collector's Art Bluebird Bottle 1971
This Collector’s Art Bluebird bisque limited edition bottle or decanter is wondrously designed with fabulous detailing of the bluebird on a branch. This beautiful Bluebird Collector's Art bottle was designed by Bud Hastin and was the first bottle in his Collector Art Series of birds, dogs, and bull bottles. Some of these bottles contained whisky and some had cologne. This Collector's Art bottle contained cologne and there is just a little bit still in the bottle. The bottles were made by GOTO Porcelain Factory in Japan, considered to be the best at the time. Only 1,200 pieces were made and originally came with a numbered certificate and a box. No box or certificate available with this Bluebird bottle. The red and gold label on the front reads "Collector’s Art Cologne, Created exclusively for Bud Hastin Enterprises Kansas City, Missouri". One label on the bottom reads "Collector’s Art Bluebird 1971 Limited Edition" and a second label reads "Container made in Japan". This Collector’s Art Bluebird bottle is in excellent condition with no defects. These Collector’s Art bottles are rare today and seldom found.
