Pink Colonial Knife & Fork Depression Glass Sugar Bowl
Pink Colonial Knife and Fork Depression Glass Covered Sugar produced by Hocking Glass Co. This Colonial Knife & Fork Depression Glass Sugar bowl looks so fantastic that you really don’t notice any flaws until inspected more closely, but it does have some flaws. There are four vertical ridged panels on each side of the bowl. The two panels on each side closest to the handle are nick-free. On the other two panels on each side, there are nicked areas inside the ridges (common for this pattern) and there is one chip on the bottom rim of the bowl. The only imperfection on the lid is a chip on the underneath side of the rim. (See extra photos.) The Colonial Knife and Fork Depression Glass Sugar Bowl lid in pink is particularly difficult to find in any condition and the lid alone is priced at $65.00 in Gene Florence’s "Collector’s Encyclopedia of Depression Glass", year 2000, and the book value of just the sugar bowl (no lid) is $25.00 (a total of $90.00). Because of the afore-mentioned flaws, this Colonial Knife and Fork Pink Sugar Bowl with lid is priced at a 58% discount. All in all, it is in very good condition for an item that is 70 years old.

Queen Mary Depression Glass Sugar Bowl Crystal
Queen Mary Depression Glass Crystal Sugar Bowl produced by the Hocking Glass Company. This crystal Queen Mary Sugar Bowl is such a beautiful piece of glass even though there is considerable nicking on many of the vertical ribs towards the bottom of the sugar bowl. The glass has such sparkle radiating from the ribbed sides that you really don’t notice the nicked ribs, but they are indeed nicked. Priced accordingly.
