This Criss Cross (Crisscross) crystal reamer was advertised in the Hazel Atlas 1938 catalog as a juice extractor, but it is often called an orange reamer. Hazel Atlas made this Criss Cross reamer with a loop handle, twisted cone, bottom footing, and raised side lip to avoid spills when pouring. This Criss Cross reamer, however, is not your ordinary Hazel Atlas Criss Cross Reamer. During manufacture, before the glass cooled, the front or spout end portion sagged, giving it a very distinctive look. It is unusual and perhaps even rare.
