This is a vintage needlepoint handbag or purse. It has needlepoint with strawberries on a black background on all four sides and the bottom. There is no label in the purse and I do not know who made it. The inside of the purse is red silk and there are pockets on both sides. The purse measures 12 inches wide, 9-1/2 inches tall without the handle, 15 inches tall with the handle and 3-1/2 inches deep. There are four brass studs on the bottom. The handle is black leather. The purse is in good condition but there is some wear to the handle. The handle is made of two strips of leather which are sewn together.
