| This is a vintage stretch bracelet made of chunks of bakelite. I tested all the pieces using Simichrome. The three lighter colored, carved pieces test positive for bakelite. The five darker pieces may be amber but I am not certain. I tested them like I did the bakelite and they tested positive but it was a much deeper, darker yellow than the bakelite tested. The bracelet has clear beads between the larger beads and is strung on elastic. The bracelet is vintage and while the elastic is still slightly stretchy, I believe it does need to be replaced.
