This is a Victorian or Edwardian mourning brooch. It tested 10K but it is gold filled. I believe the stone in the center is onyx but it could be jet or glass. On the back of the brooch is the initial M. The brooch has a C clasp. The brooch measures 3/4 of an inch in diameter. It is in good condition but there the stone does have a rough area on one edge that can't really be seen but can be felt.
