These are two Victorian silver knife rests. These exact knife rests can be found on page 162 of Antique Trader's Metalwares Price Guide which was edited by Kyle Husfloen. The knife rests are not marked and I believe they are silverplate. A magnet will NOT stick to them.

| They have a rampant lion on each end with a twisted rope between them. The lions are very detailed. The bases have flowers on them. They measure 2 inches by 2-3/8 inches by 4 inches. Each knife rest weighs 177.4 grams. The knife rests are in good condition but may need cleaning or polishing. I purchased these at an estate sale and was told that the woman had bought them at the London Silver Vault. However, I do not have any documentation to back this up.
