During it early years, illustrations by Petty and Vargas, photography by Hurrell, and authors such as F. Scott Fitzgerald, Hemingway, etc. complemented their issues.

In very good condition, minor cover creases.

Contains an eleven (11) page photographic article about the Naked Fat Man and the Rolling Stones.

On December 6, 1969, four months after Woodstock, the Rolling Stones gave a free concert at Altamont, California. They hired The Hell's Angels for their bodyguards. What transpired was a horrible beating and murder of a spectator in front of the stage while the Stones were performing.

The documentary film Gimme Shelter chronicles the fateful event.
