MANY VOICES - COLE
Green cloth boards mildly faded, with minor fraying at top and bottom of spine, wear at joint, gilt title front board.
Inscribed by author to Mrs. Claude G. Bowers, wife of U.S. Ambassador to Spain and Chile, thanking her for hospitality to 'The Good Neighbors Tour' of which she was a member. Aside from a poet, Helen Cole was a landscape artist, and the purpose of the 'Tour' was to promote Pan-American culture and art in U.S. galleries.
Included is a Christmas card signed Helen W. Cole, 1940, with added typewritten poem on the blank leaf.
It appears that this printing had several errors, as Cole has, in her own hand, make corrections to pages 31 and 35.
