Lantz Productions Chilly Willy Ceramic Bank
Our vintage style Chilly Willy bank is created of the finest materials, paints and glazes. He has no "cold paint", and is completely scratch proof. Unlike many modern ceramic artists, we take no short cuts with our pieces, and the red in his hat is fired glaze, not enamel painted over the glaze which will chip over time.
Willy is standing on his iceberg waiting for your coins. He has a generous slot in his back that will accomodate quarters and a 1.25" round hole underneath for your rubber stopper or cork. The bank stands 9.5" tall. The back of the base is marked with the "Walter Lantz Productions" 1975 copyright marking. This piece is made from a previously unused "old stock" vintage mold for maximum detail.
Each bank is completely hand painted. This gives each piece an individuality and personality not found in most of today's "imported" mass-produced ceramic goods.

Dennis the Menace Ceramic Bank
The Dennis the Menace cartoon was named after the real Dennis, son of Hank and Alice Ketcham. Apparently there was an incident concerning the four-year-old’s naptime and the chaos he wrought in his bedroom rather than snoozing. His provoked mother stormed into Hank’s studio exclaiming, “Your son is a menace!” The cartoonist made an immediate connection, and drew a panel about a rambunctious, loveable boy, full of joyful mischief.
Our Dennis the Menace bank is a perfect gift for any fan of the early Dennis character. This figural bank captures the earlier, vintage look of the mischief maker in all his 5 year old glory. The bank is approximately 8" Tall.
