This vintage style "Island Beauty" mermaid is a stylish and retro addition to any bathroom, pool room or sauna. Our mermaid is a demurely sexy native with jet black hair and a 23K fired gold navel ring. She has lovely chocolate skin and a soft sea green and blue tail with a colorful fin. She is sitting on a large pink shell.
The shell is finished in two colors of textured fired glaze that sparkles in the light. The mermaid is glazed in a glossy finish with opalescent glazed bubbles to further the 50's style and feel.
This is a large plaque, measuring 14" Tall by 8" Wide.
Each Mermaid plaque is completely hand painted. This gives each piece an individuality and personality not found in most of today's "imported" mass-produced ceramic goods.
