Our StoryBook Ceramics exclusive design "Mammy Angel" is a brand new look to the beloved McCoy Mammy cookie jar. Mammy is dressed in her traditional white dress with a permanent, fired red head wrap (not cold paint that will flake or fade). She has long, full, curved wings permanently attached to her back. Her halo, earrings, buttons and embossed "Cookies" on the front of her dress are lavishly embellished in 23K fired gold.
Each Mammy is completely hand painted. This gives each piece an individuality and personality not found in most of today's "imported" mass-produced ceramic goods.
This is a large, heavy cookie jar, measuring 10.5" tall.
