This 32-page booklet entitled "The Family Fallout Shelter" was released by the Office of Civil and Defense Mobilization in 1959. It not only contains building plans to construct a shelter, but also information on different types of shelters as well as practical information to know should an attack occur, as well as the dangers of not being properly prepared. The booklet measures approx. 8 1/2" X 11", and is in near mint condition. The Appendix includes many detailed construction drawings, as well as a shelter supply checklist. A very informative and unusual piece of history.
