What an unusual record. Let me see if I can get this straight. In the 1960s Jerry Kasenetz & Jeff Katz produced such great bubblegum pop acts as The 1910 Fruitgum Co. & The Ohio Express. On June 7, 1968, Kasenetz & Katz brought their roster of 8 groups together at Carnegie Hall, NYC, to form the Singing Orchestral Circus. This is the recording of their one-time performance. The LP features The 1910 Fruitgum Co., The Ohio Express, 1989 Musical Marching Zoo, St. Louis Invisible Marching Band, The Music Explosion, The Teri Nelson Group, Lt. Garcia's Magic Music Box, and J.C.W. Rat Finks. There are 14 tracks which include We Can Work It Out, Place In The Sun, You Lost The Lovin' Feeling, Down In Tennessee, Simon Says, and Yesterday. The booklet features a page of useless information on each of the performing acts. The stamp sheet contains one photo stamp of each band member.

Condition: LP: Very Good. Cover: Good, has light ringwear and some wear along edges. Booklet: Very Good. Stamp Sheet: Good: The stamp sheet is complete but has a few tiny rips and tears along the right edge. One quarter of the stamp sheet is stuck to the 1st page of the booklet, as will sometime happen to stamps over time. I will leave it up to the buyer to carefully remove it.

This is the more desirable MONO version of this classic LP. It is the original 1963 pressing with the original Capitol paper inner sleeve, which pictures other LPs of the time that were recorded on the Capitol label. The vinyl itself sounds great - it is in Very Good condition with very light clicks and pops. The cover is glossy and displays well - it is in Good condition, with a punch-out hole, splits on ends of top and bottom of the cover, and light stains and ringwear.
