March-April 1977 issue of the counterculture newspaper YIPSTER TIMES - published on 9 Bleecker Street in New York City.
Filled with interesting counter culture reading, of most interest is the article written by Patti Smith titled "You Can't Say **** in Radio Free America". (The potentially offensive word is rubbed out on my scan, but is all intact on the actual item) She wrote it in response to the refusal of WNEW Radio to air her concert from the Palladium in NYC-they refused to air it due to her repeated use of the "f" word during her concert. This is the original full page printing of this article, and is highly sought after by Patti Smith fans.
The newspaper is 16 pages and is in near mint condition with just a tiny bit of browning/foxing of the pages.
S&H is an additional $5.00 within the continental U.S. International shipping is also available.
