Coca Cola Wooden 6 Pack Case 1961 This yellow with red lettering Coca Cola wooden case held 4 6 packs of soda. It is in very good + condition and measures 11 3/4 inches by 18 inches by 4 inches. You can see in the picture Chattanooga Cases 1961 on the inside. I'm wondering how many of these survived and how many ended up in wood burning stoves? An addition to any vintage Coka-Cola Collection.

Coca-Cola Plastic Can 6 pack Advertising Display This six pack of 12 ounce plastic cans of Coca-Cola Original Formula was used as an in-store display only, they were never filled with soda, for the new PET containers tested in 1985 by Coca-Cola.
In September of 1983 the Petainer Development Company, a venture of three international packaging companies, started a plant to produce plastic cans for Coca-Cola USA, a unit of the Coca-Cola Company. The Pet Container consisted of a body of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) coated with a polyvinyl chloride copolymer, an aluminum end, and a polyvinyl label.
In October 15, 1985 Coca-Cola U.S.A. said today that it will begin testing a plastic soft-drink can this week in Columbus, Ga.
The announcement said plastic cans of Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Classic, Diet Coke and Sprite would be delivered to selected food stores. It said no other soft drink in the United States is sold in a plastic can.
Dan Haas, packaging manager for Coca-Cola U.S.A., said in a statement that use of the plastic can is a market test, and we have made no firm decision on the long-term commercial application of the can in the soft-drink market.
Designed as a recycle friendly alternative to aluminum it drew immediate fire from the enviromental groups. Coca-Cola ultimately relinguished right to the technology because they couldn't support the weight of other cases on top of them.
The lids are marked with numbers on top, 2-K19D 66 / 1-K19D 62 / 2-K19D 65 / 1-K19D 64 and on the bottom: Petainer R pat. 4,405,546 and others while the cans are marked: Original Formula / 12 FL.OZ. 354mL / Canned Under Authority Of The Coca-Cola Company, Atlanta GA. By Columbus Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Columbus Ga. 31908.
In very good + condition the cans measure 5 1/8 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches in diameter. A great conversation piece and an addition to any Coca-Cola Can Collection.
SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed. If you have questions please contact me and thank you for looking.

Enjoy Coca-Cola Drinking Glasses-Set of 4 This set of 4 Enjoy Coca-Cola Glasses are marked with the Coca-Coca Trade-Mark with an R in a circle. They were a promotional giveaway from the Coca-Cola Company and Arby's Food Chain during the early 1970's. When you ordered a Coke with your meal you got to keep the glass!
In May, 1886, Coca Cola was invented by Doctor John Pemberton a pharmacist from Atlanta, Georgia. John Pemberton concocted the Coca Cola formula in a three legged brass kettle in his backyard. The name was a suggestion given by John Pemberton's bookkeeper Frank Robinson. In 1887, another Atlanta pharmacist and businessman, Asa Candler bought the formula for Coca Cola from inventor John Pemberton for $2,300. By the late 1890s, Coca Cola was one of America's most popular fountain drinks, largely due to Candler's aggressive marketing of the product. With Asa Candler, now at the helm, the Coca Cola Company increased syrup sales by over 4000% between 1890 and 1900.
Done in a stained glass window pattern in colors of red and black with white lettering they are in very good + condition and measure 5 3/4 inches tall and 2 5/8 inches across the rim. I have 2 sets of 4 glasses for sale. Price quoted is for each set ordered. An addition to any Coca-Cola Advertising Collection.
SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed. If you have questions feel free to contact me and thank you for looking.
