CVS Pharmacy Advertising Playing Cards-1995 This wonderful deck of playing cards advertising CVS Pharmacy was made in China in 1995. On a white background the picture side of the card has CVS Pharmacy in the upper left hand corner and pictures of a heart, diamond, spade and club in colors of black and red. Unopened in it's original cellophane packaging that measures 3 1/2 inches by 2 3/8 inches, it would be a nice addition to any Advertising Card Collection. I have 2 packs of cards in stock. Franks Nursery Advertising Playing Cards This wonderful deck of playing cards advertising Frank's Nursey was made in Taiwan in the 1980's. On a white background the picture side of the card has the name Frank's in red with a green box with yellow lettering, Where Beautiful Things Begin. Unopened in it's original plastic holding tray, that does have a crack in it, with cellophane wrapping they measures 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/4 inches, it would be a nice addition to any Advertising Card Collection.

Texaco Oil Advertising Desk Flag This great desk flag advertising Texaco Oil is from the late 1960's early 1970's.
Joe Cullinan founded the Texas Fuel Company in 1897 and it wasn't until 1906 that the company registered the trademark name, Texaco.
With their logo, a T inside a star, in red lettering on a white background mounted on a wood pole that stands on a wooden base. They were giveaways in a bygone era and although never used it does have small oil or age spots from standing on a desk inside the gas station, or from being handed out right after pumping your gas. The flag itself measures 4 inches by 5 5/8 inches, the pole is 10 1/2 inches high and the stand is 1 1/4 inches high and 2 1/4 inches in diameter. I have 8 of these flags in stock. Speedy Alka-Seltzer Collapsible Advertising Cup This great advertising collapsible cup features Speedy Alka Seltzer. 1931 Alka-Seltzer is introduced into the market for relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, upset-stomach, headache, body aches and pains. Comic strip characters are used to advertise the product in serials on buses and subway cars.
1951 The famous baby-faced character Speedy Alka-Seltzer was born featuring an Alka-Seltzer tablet body with hat and effervescent wand. Originally known as Sparky, his name was changed by a sales manager to reflect that year’s promotional theme, Speedy Relief. The Speedy Alka-Seltzer character was created in 1951 with the original working model standing at just 6 inches tall.

Cunard Queen Mary Souvenir Whale Candy Dish This candy dish shaped like a whale, is a souvenir from the Queen Mary and is marked: Treasure Craft/Made in USA. The Queen Mary is an ocean liner that sailed the North Atlantic Ocean from 1936 to 1967 for Cunard Line which is now berthed in California serving as a tourist attraction. Brown in color the center of the whale is glazed in green and brown with Queen Mary in print. In very good condition there is a small chip under the M which I have shown in my pictures and it measures 1 1/8 inches high, 7 inches long and 6 1/4 inches wide. F. W. Woolworth's Advertising Fork and Spoon Set This fork and spoon set advertising for F. W. Woolworth's are marked on the handle: Woolworth's.
The F. W. Woolworth Company (often referred to as Woolworth's) was a retail company that was one of the original American five-and-dime stores. The first Woolworth's store was founded, with a loan of $300, in 1878 by Frank Winfield Woolworth. Despite growing to be one of the largest retail chains in the world through most of the 20th century, increased competition led to its decline beginning in the 1980s. Not only could you find anything and everything needed for the household, yard and car but they had the best luncheonette counter and soda fountain I can remember!
In very good + condition they do have light scratches from use, as I have shown in my pictures and the fork measures 7 inches long and 7/8 inch wide while the spoon measures 6 inches long and 1 1/8 inches wide. A wonderful addition to any Advertising Collection.

Chaussures Leon Ashtray This wonderful vintage advertising ashtray in the shape of a shoe is marked: Chaussures Leon Luxumbourg Gare on the front. On the back it is marked: JF/Morcroft. Since I couldn't find anything in my books on this piece I decided to contact Leon Shoes in Luxumbourg and below is the response I received from the stores original owner Corinne Hello,where did you find that ashtray? it was a gift for our 40th birthday (we are 80 years old now). sorry, let me perhaps introduce me: my name is Corinne, and this is the e-mail address and the ashtray from our shoeshop. Chaussures means shoes, Leon is the name of the shop, Luxembourg is our country and Gare means trainstation, our shop is close to it. Stanley-Armor Elevator Pocket Tape Stanley made this advertising pocket tape measure for the Armor Elevator Company San Francisco, Ca. which operated from June 1989 to July 1995. Armor Elevator Company merged with Montgomery in the fall of 1994. It's marked on the front under a red shield that has the initials AEC/Armor/Elevator Company,Inc/Pride in Performance/ and the ruler itself is marked: Stanley Made in U.S.A/Keep Clean Lightly Oiled. In good condition, it still works fine and the ruler dispenses from the top. It does have scratches, a small ding mark and some paint on the back all of which I have shown in my pictures and measures 1 5/8 inches by 1 1/2 inches. A wonderful addition to any advertising collection.
