Philip Rosenthal Gold Floral Saucer
This vintage gold banded floral saucer is marked on the back: R C with crossed swords inbetween the letters and a crown above it in green. According to my Koval's Book of Marks this marking was used by Philip Rosenthal & Co./Bavaria/Germany from 1898-1906. It also coinsides with what is written on one of the plates: M.Kelly 07. I have 2 of these saucers in stock, price quoted is for each one ordered. I have not been able to find the name of this pattern, if any one knows I would appreciate an e-mail. In very good condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites, it does show some paint loss from age, and it measures 5 3/4 inches in diameter. An addition to any Rosenthal Porcelain Collection. Rosenthal White Porcelain Dish w/Gold Trim
This lovely white dish with gold design and trim is marked: Uberreicht durch/Rosenthal/Werk Selb. In very good condition it measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter. The design on the front almost looks like a signature, I'm still researching this pattern as I haven't been able to find it in any of my books, so if anyone knows I would appreciate an email. Rosenthal Grape Pattern Mug
This Hand Painted mug is Art Nouveau, circa 1890 and marked Rosen (crown with crossed swords) thal/Bavaria. Rosenthal was established in 1880 in Selb, Bavaria. The factory is still making fine quality tablewares and figurines. A beautiful piece in very good + condition it measures 4 7/8 inches tall, 2 7/8 inches across the rim and 4 1/8 inches across the base.
