Lefton China OES Commemorative Plate #KF105 This Commemorative OES (General Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star) plate is marked: Lefton China/Hand Painted/Reg.US Pat. Off.#KF105. The Order of the Eastern Star is the largest fraternal organization in the world to which both men and women may belong. Worldwide, there are approximately 1 million members under the General Grand Chapter. Eastern Star is a social order comprised of persons with spiritual values but it is not a religion. Its appeal rests in the true beauty of the refreshing and character-building lessons that are so sincerely portrayed in its ritualistic work. A deep fraternal bond exists between its members. It is the wholesome relationship of sisterly and brotherly love brought about through high principles exemplified in our lives which makes us near and dear to each other.
Very colorful there is a large star in the center of the plate with each point a different color with different signs of the order in them on a white china background surrounded by smaller gold stars and trim. In very good + condition without chips, fleabites or cracks, it measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter. A wonderful addition to any Commemorative or Lefton China Plate Collection.

Decorated with a bas-relief design of a Windmill along the shoreline with soft white clouds in a blue sky with colors of blue, yellow, red, greens and browns with two holes on the back for hanging. The plate is in very good + condition without chips but does have manufacturer flaws in the back of the plate where the glaze did not cover properly and crazing from age in the front, all of which I have shown in my pictures and it measures 9 5/8 inches in diameter. Decorated with a bas-relief design of a Country Cottage along a stream with soft white clouds in a blue sky surrounded by tall trees and bushes in colors of blue, yellow, red, greens and browns with two holes on the back for hanging. The plate is in very good + condition without chips but does have manufacturer flaws in the back of the plate where the glaze did not cover properly and a fleck mark on the rim, all of which I have shown in my pictures and it measures 9 1/8 inches in diameter. United States Ceramic Co. Colonial Couple Plate This lovely transferware Colonial Couple Scene transferware plate is marked: United States Ceramic Company / Hatboro, PA. I have not been able to find any information on the company to date this plate. If anyone knows I would appreciate an email. The plate is very colorful with lavender, yellow, blues, pinks and green and features a colonial couple with a man pushing a woman on a swing under a large tree with lots of flowers and trees surrounding them and it has gold trim around the plate with minimal wear. In very good + condition without chips, cracks or fleabites it does have a small dot manufacturer flaw on the underside, which I have shown in my pictures and it measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter. 1973 Norwegian American Line Bark Crown Plate This wonderful souvenir plate is marked: With compliments of the Norwegian American Line / Porsgrund / Norway / Barque Crown / 655 tons was built of wood in Risor, Norway, 1979 and registered at Risor from 1979 to 1910. Owners were M. Danielson from 1879 and Victor Normann from 1903. Masters were: from 1880 H.R.Danielson, from 1892 R.M.Heberg and from 1902 E.Skoglund. It has an illustration of the bark Crown, in black on white with a Viking design border. In very good + condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 10 3/8 inches in diameter.
