Edna Hibel Flower Girl Of Provence Plate 1977
This limited edition plate, Flower Girl Of Provence, is Edna Hibel's exquisite commemorative tribute to the Hibel Museum of Art in Palm Beach, Florida, in celebration of the opening January, 1977. This was her first plate to be crafted on Hutschenreuther's distinguished porcelain and limited to a single, sequentially numbered edition of 12,750. In very good + condition and numbered #6932 the plate is 13 1/4 inches in diameter and is still in the original silk lined box with all of the original paperwork. The backstamp on the plate has Edna Hibel's thoughts in her own handwriting, along with the Hutschenreuther, Germany mark, the Limited Edition number and that it was expressly commissioned by the Hibel Museum of Art Palm Beach, Florida for the opening of the museum. Looking at the picture the plate seems alive and is signed on the front Hibel. An addition to any Limited Edition or Edna Hibel Collection. SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed.
