These beautiful wall plaques, round porcelain tiles set in a heavy oak frame, of a Frenchmen and his Lady fair are marked on a label: Retos LTD / R / Shannon / Made in Ireland. The gentlemen has these markings next to his portrait: AE EA SVAE 26/A 1624. In very good + condition the frame measures 4 7/8 inches in diameter while the porcelain insert measures 3 1/2 inches in diameter. A wonderful addition to any wall grouping.
