This very collectible blue Lenape Indian State glass bank was made by and marked on the back: T.C.Wheaton Co. / Flint Glass Manufacturers / Founded 1888, on the bottom is marked: Wheaton, N.J. In 1888 Dr. Theodore Wheaton started glass making with a handful of men and a one building factory in Milleville, New Jersey. Over the years Wheaton Industries grew into a World Class organization making many different types of containers for the Glass Industry including Avon, Shulton and Liquor dacanters. From 1967 to 1975 Wheaton Industries produced various decanters, flasks and bottles for the Collectible Market. These banks are designed to get your money out, all you do is turn it over and the money will come out. In very good + condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 6 1/4 inches tall, 5 inches long and 3 1/4 inches wide. An addition to any Blue Glass, T.C.
