Circa: 1920 Manufacturer: Indiana Glass Company/Made in USA
This vintage tiny depression glass creamer with paneled sides in the Peerless Colonial pattern #165 was made by the Indiana Glass Company, Dunkirk, Indiana. TThe Indiana Glass Company began in Dunkirk, Indiana, in 1907. The company produced Depression as well as carnival glass during the 1930's and they manufactured hand molded glass as well as machine made glass in the same factory. Indiana Glass started producing pressed patterns in 1929. In 1983 Lancaster Colony purchased the company. Lancaster Colony closed the factory in 2002. Indiana Glass introduced this pattern in the 1920's. It was offered in crystal and marigold iridescent glass. In very good condition, it does have 2 tiny flea bites on a panel prism but they are hardly noticeable and measures 2 1/4 inches tall with a rim span of 2 inches by 2 1/4 inches with a star design on the bottom. An addition to any Vintage Creamer or Indiana Glass Collection. SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed. If you have questions feel free to contact me and thank you for looking. |
