This vintage durable light green Pyrex bowl is marked: 024 2 Qt. / Trade Mark / 25 / Pyrex / Made in U.S.A / Ovenware.
In 1915, a wondrous new line of glass dishes for baking appeared in the nation's hardware, department and china stores. On May 18, 1915, Boston department store Jordan Marsh placed the first Pyrex order. Sold under the Pyrex trademark, this transparent ovenware seemed to be the perfect material, for it was swift, clean, and economical. Over the 89 years since it was introduced, Pyrex products have seen many changes in design, color, decoration and accessories to keep pace with constantly changing fashions and cooking practices. Pyrex is now available in a large assortment of products perfect for preparing, taking, baking, serving and storing food.
In very good condition there without chips or cracks it measures 3 1/2 inches deep, 8 5/8 inches by 10 1/8 inches. These bowls were made to last, I believe this bowl to be pre 1965 and an addition to any Pyrex Ovenware Collection.
