This lovely coupe shaped plate is marked on the back in blue: Bavaria / Schumann / Arzberg.
The mark is listed as The Carl Schumann Porcelain Factory Mark and dates from the 1920's-1930's, according to my Kovels' New Dictionary of Porcelain and Pottery Marks. Decorated with 3 silver designs around the plate with silver covering the entire pierced or reticulated edge, the edges do show age wear to the color as I have shown in my pictures.
On the back of the plate is printed the name of Angela Ryan which I did not test to see if it was put there by the previous owner or the artist of this plate.
In very good condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites, it measures 7 1/2 inches by 7 3/4 inches.
