This Hand Painted Wall Charger Majolica Plate is marked: Starlight inside a crown / Germany / Hand Painted / 22 / 4593. Decorated with a bas-relief design of a Windmill along the shoreline with soft white clouds in a blue sky with colors of blue, yellow, red, greens and browns with two holes on the back for hanging.
The plate is in very good + condition without chips but does have manufacturer flaws in the back of the plate where the glaze did not cover properly and crazing from age in the front, all of which I have shown in my pictures and it measures 9 5/8 inches in diameter.
An addition to any Germany Charger Plate Collection.
