This wonderful souvenir plate is marked: With compliments of the Norwegian American Line / Porsgrund / Norway / Barque Crown / 655 tons was built of wood in Risor, Norway, 1979 and registered at Risor from 1979 to 1910. Owners were M. Danielson from 1879 and Victor Normann from 1903.
Masters were: from 1880 H.R.Danielson, from 1892 R.M.Heberg and from 1902 E.Skoglund. It has an illustration of the bark Crown, in black on white with a Viking design border.
In very good + condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 10 3/8 inches in diameter.
