Circa: 1930 Manufacturer: Wagner Manufacturing/Sidney, Ohio
This Wagnerware Cast Iron Frying Pan is marked: Wagnerware / Sidney / -0- / #1058 / B with the #8 on the handle. In 1891, Milton M. and Bernard P. Wagner established the Wagner Manufacturing Company in Sidney, Ohio. Wagner Manufacturing made brass casting and cast iron hollowware, some of which was nickel plated. Wagner was one of the first companies to make aluminum cookware. In 1957, Randall's Wagner Division purchased the Griswold Cookware line and in 1969 it was again sold to General Housewares Corporation. In very good condition it does need a good burning off and measures 2 inches high and 10 7/8 inches wide. An addition to any Vintage Wagner Ware Cast Iron Cookware Collection. SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed. If you have any questions contact me and thank you for looking.
