This ivory china Christmas Tree Ornament, Santa Rings in the Holidays, was hand crafted in China by Lenox with 24 karat gold trim and comes in its original box with certificate of authenticity that states it was issued in a limited edition to be crafted until December 25, 2002.
From their Annual Santa Ornament Collection it is dated 2002.
Walter Scott Lenox founded Lenox, Inc. in 1906. Despite his acute disability, he had become the sole proprietor of a ceramics company and achieved his goal of creating beautiful ivory-tinted porcelain. Upon his death in 1920, Mr. Lenox had created a china legacy that, even today, is renowned the world over for its fine craftsmanship and superior quality.
In very good + condition the ornament looks to have never been used and measures 4 1/4 inches tall, 3 1/8 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches deep. This was opened as a gift and the box has a tear in the top fold which I have shown in my pictures.
