It contains approximately 40 stories with "What do You think" questions and "Take a closer Look" Questions at the end of the story. There are also numerous poems. This looks to be a third or fourth grade reader.

The Art-Literature Readers Book Two Primer This hardbound book dates from before 1923 as it has no copyright. There is some wear to the edges and spine, but all the pages are there. Many sepia toned illustrations for the stories and poetry. This book is by Frances E Chutter. I see that many home schoolers still use it because it combines art and literature so well. There is even the music for songs in the book. 160 pages. Some brown stains on the top edge.
 

Glossary of Arithmetic-Mathematical Terms Math definitions and tables fill this booklet which is approx. 9 in. by 5.75 in. It has a person's name on the front two flyleafs-in red ink, so it must have belonged to a teacher. 104 pages of definitions and then 10 pages of tables followed by 6 pages of classification of geometry figures.
 

1962 Ginn Enrichment Reader-Down Story Roads Ginn and Co put out the Enrichment reader in 1962 . the book measures 9.25 " by 7" and contains 28 stories of varying length, a play entitled "Mr. Popper's Penguins" and many poems, including Haikus and poems without rhymes. I don't have a level for this book, but I would judge it to be third/fourth grade based on vocabulary. It has a glossary and prnunciation guide in the back.

The stories have "Tell Me what you think " questions and also "Take a Closer Look questions. There is also a play and a book length story. There is a glossary at the end. I sow one story by Laura Ingalls Wilder in it.
