These old red earrings probably date from the 30's or 40's. They are the screw on type.

| The buttons measure 3/4 in. in diameter. The paint has a litle bit of crackle lines in it, but it is all solidly attached. I think the under-button may be wood because on the BACK of one of the earrings there is a 1/16 in. area that has the paint off of it. It looks light brown underneath. This area cannot be seen when they are worn. |
