These two old mechanical pensils are definitely vintage. The short brass pencil would probably polish up really nice, but I feel it's better to offer it in the state in which I found it in the bottom of a box from an auction of goods from Ohio. The brass pencil works fine and takes 1 mm. lead. It measures about 3 in. from rear to tip.
The gray pencil has an eraser that is hard as rock and and I have a cover for the silver portion, but I am not sure it is the correct one. The gold color and grey color matches, but there is a rock hard eraser on the cover also. I can't think of why there would be an eraser on the outside and one on the insde, but I'll throw it in for good measure. The cover looks like it is missing the pocket clip. Maybe you have an extra one. The grey pencil does not take the 1 mm. lead. It uses something slightly smaller. If you collect vintage writing utensils please check out the other ones that we have added to our inventory, and the leads we have available.
