I think from the angle of the screw attachments at the ends of these brass sconces that they possibly were attached to a lamp or chandelier. They are heavy brass, but only two of them have the black candle on them. The S-shaped area is approx. 6 inches across and the flower underneath the candle is approx. 3 inches across. From the bottom of the arch to the bottom of the candle is approx. 4 inches. Electric wires run through each of these .
