This old pair of hedge trimmers has blades that measure 11 inches long. The handles are about 1.25 inches in diameter by about 10.5 inches long and are of old hard wood. They were evidently painted blue at one time as there are some blue areas of paint left on the handles.

| There are rivets that hold the handle caps on to the wooden handles. The blades enter the handles through these handle caps. The handle cap were probably red, long ago, as there are still areas of red paint on one of them. the hedge trimmers open and close very smoothly, but I don't believe they are sharp enough to cut anything. They are fairly heavy...2 pounds. |
