Antique France Fashion Print Matching Pair Chippy Signed Matching Framed Shabby Pair of Antique French Fashion Prints in Original Frames with original backings. The Glass was reversed painted in Pink with a lovely Scroll design around the perimeter of the prints. It is chipping off due to its age but could be restored. We did not remove the backs but you can see the Artists signature on one of the prints, which may also be on the other print, as shown in the last photo. We did not want to remove due to further damage from the process. These prints are guaranteed to be Antique. The signature that you can see on the one print appears to be Aruis Pou Touze. There appears to be a letter or two missing between the Pou and Touze, but you can tell it is an original signed print. The colors on the prints are bright and in excellent condition. Art Nouveau Deco Shilhouette Picture Victorian Couple Mint Victorian Muscial Scene on this matching pair of Antique Art Nouveau Deco Silhoutte Foil Reverse Paintings. These are an old set probably from the 1925-1935 era. Still in the original frames and backing with the old four digit telephone number on the back of the Mfg. Good size measuring 13 in long x 9 3/4 wide. Perfect Condition, no chips or cracks, and ready to hang. The camera washed the colors out a bit, they are actually quite lovely with an irridescent blue on the windows, orange on the candles, and red on the roses. Buyer will be very pleased with this hard to find set.

Antique Maxfield Parrish Garden of Allah Print 1918 Mark This is a Very nice Maxfield Parrish Print on Paper dated 1918. Maxfield Parrish was born in 1870 and died in 1966. The Title of the Piece is The Garden of Allah, and Shows Three Beautiful Maidens Lounging on the Edge of a Reflecting Pool with a Flowering Garden Behind Them and Two Large Urns in the foreground. The colors are gorgeous Muted Blues and Greens with shades of Sunlit yellow accenting the piece making it look almost 3 dimensional and realistic. The Print is In Its Original Gimbel Brothers of NY Frame with Old wavy glass and Decorative Gold Scroll Molding on the Frame. The initials of MP appear on the Print along side the Pool edge and are also reflected in the Pool Water. The back of the Frame still carries the original Frame Shop Gold Foil Tag of Gimbel Brothers Picture Shop New York. There were many copies of this print framed by NY frame shops during the 1920-1940's, this is one of them, and they are getting harder and harder to find.
