These Old Chalkware Banks were manufactured by Duquense in Pittsburgh, Pa during the late 1940-1950s. This one was manufactured in 1956 and is marked. They are very hard to find without damage as you had to break them to get your Savings out. This one has not been broken and we would say is in Mint condition. We purchased him with a nick behind his right ear from the rear view, but we have repaired it and painted over it in matching colors. You would not noticed had we not disclosed, but feel it is only fair to note the repair. Bright with vintage original paint.
